Special Gift for the Rosh Hayeshiva

IMG_3112

After spending a special Shabbos together with the Rosh Hayeshiva Shlita several weeks ago, the bnei chabura of the UK and European talmidim joined in presenting the Rosh Hayeshiva with a special gift signifying their hakoras hatov. While there aren’t many gifts the Rosh Hayshiva would enjoy, they knew exactly what to give. The group of over one hundred talmidim presented the Rosh Hayeshiva with a check – but instead of it being made out to a monetary amount, it was for a total of 21,550 dapim of Gemara that the talmidim took upon themselves to learn. The Rosh Hayeshiva was beaming with excitement –  there is nothing more meaningful to him then more Limud Hatorah. Upon hearing that some of the bochurim committed themselves to over 500 blatt of Gemara, the Rosh Hayeshiva said that he will sponsor the necessary Gemaros they will need to complete it. It was a true simchas haTorah at the home of the Rosh Hayeshiva, as well as a beautiful demonstration of hakoras hatov in a most meaningful fashion.
