Toronto Young Alumni Breakfast
Toronto’s Young Alumni Breakfast was held at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Mordy Sochaczewski, a Mir alumni couple who are popular members of the community. Among the co-hosts of the event were Mitch Zolty, Mordy Posner, and Shmuel Werner. Rav Binyomin Carlebach stayed for over an hour despite his very tight schedule; he spoke to the gathering about how every individual has his personal cheilek in Torah, which is his unique and critical mission on behalf of Klal Yisroel. Mordechai Rothschild and Shmuel Zimmerman – the Yeshiva’s chief “ambassadors” in Toronto shared their feelings about how their efforts for the Yeshiva impacted themselves, their families and their businesses. Everyone was truly inspired and motivated to really get on board and join the senior group of the Mir’s dedicated alumni in Toronto.
