Siyum/Seudas Preidah with the Rosh Yeshiva
Just after Chanuka, on Shabbos Parshas Vayigash, the bochurim were challenged by the Rosh Hayeshiva with the goal of completing the Masechta by the end of the zman. On the Motzei Shabbos before the end of the zman, a special siyum was held, in conjunction with a mesibas preidah for all the bochurim who were leaving. With close to 100 mesaymim at the event, the Rosh Hayeshiva could be seen beaming with radiant nachas from the simcha of this lofty achievement by so many . Both the Rosh Hayeshiva and Mashgiach spoke, after which the oilam broke out in spirited dancing. Before leaving, the Rosh Hayeshiva presented each of the mesaymim and bochurim who were leaving with a sefer as a gift.
