Shavuos
In advance of Shavuos, various shmuessen were given each week in the battei medrash. During the week of Shavuos, the Rosh Yeshiva himself went around to many of the battei medrash to deliver sichos and chizuk for Kaballas Hatorah. Before Maariv on Shavuos night, the Rosh Yeshiva gave a shmuess to a packed bais medrash in the main building. The seudos in yeshiva were arranged to the highest standard so that the bochurim could have an enjoyable meal in Yeshiva while maximizing their learning time. The battei medrash overflowed on Shavuos night, filled with talmidim as well as many visitors to Eretz Yisroel who joined the learning. Following a full night of limud haTorah, just before Shacharis, the Bais Medrash broke out in beautiful singing and dancing which felt like Hakafos on Simchas Torah. The night was followed by two days of tremendous chizuk in learning, culminating in a beautiful Neilas Hachag which was attended by the Rosh Yeshiva , Mashgiach and Rebbeim. The Drashos of the Rosh Hayeshiva and Rav Meir Wahrsager were followed by spirited song and dance which lasted until after the zman. A true Simchas Kabolas Hatorah!
