Montreal Benefit Reception 2023
The Montreal Benefit Reception, which took place on Monday evening, May 1st, drew a large crowd of alumni and friends. Although they are busy preparing for their son’s upcoming aufruf and chasuna בשעטו”מ, Mr. and Mrs. Mendy Friedman insisted on hosting the event, thereby continuing the tradition of their parents, Mr. and Mrs. Hershey Friedman, longtime devoted supporters of the Yeshiva. Hagaon Harav Binyomin Carlebach Shita offered divrei chizuk and bracha; many local rabbanim and Roshei Yeshiva graced the reception with their presence. A video featured scenes from life in Yeshiva and divrei bracha from Rav Asher Arieli. Everyone felt the special sense of yearning and excitement in the community in reinforcing their connection with the Yeshiva. The next day, Rav Binyomin visited several local mosdos haTorah.
