Lakewood Kehillas Ridge Yarchei Kallah
Lakewood Kehillas Ridge had their first ever Yarchei Kallah, attracting participants from among alumni and friends of Mir. As the new precedent, the kehilla came with their Rav for a joint experience. For a week they sat in the Beis Medrash and shteiged for a full morning seder plus a shtark second seder.
Every day the Yarchei kalla heard shiur on the sugya of עד א’ נאמן באיסורין from a different Maggid Shiur in the home of the Rosh Hayeshiva zt”l. It was also arranged for another one of the Rabbonei Hayeshiva to speak divrei chizuk every day.
Light refreshments were provided before shiur, and a beautifully laid-out and delicious lunch, ensuring participants could maximise their time in yeshiva without distractions. It was a tremendous chizuk to be able to jump back into the Beis Medrash and have such an immersive experience within the koslei yeshiva.
As an added bonus the group was addressed privately by Moreinu Rosh Hayeshiva Shlita and by Moreinu Hamashgiach Shlita on the subject of simcha in chodesh Adar.
On the final day there was a seudas preida, attended by all the Roshei Yeshiva. Hagaon Harav Binyomin Carlebach Shlita and Hagaon Harav Yitzchok Ezrachi Shlita as well as the Rav of the kehilla spoke divrei preida.
The oilam was zoche to one last dose of chizuk with hearing from a special guest, Rosh Yeshivas Chevron Hagaon Harav Dovid Cohen Shlita just before leaving to the airport.
