Baltimore Celebrates “Shabbos with the Mir” and Annual Benefit Reception
On Shabbos Parshas Behaaloscha, the greater Baltimore kehillla excitedly welcomed back the Mir and its hanhalla after a three-year interruption. Harav Hagaon Yosef Elefant shlita and Harav Hagaon Shmuel Levovitz shlita spent Shabbos speaking in various shuls throughout the city. The beautiful Shabbos culminated in a special Alumni Melave Malka at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Aaron Loeb graced by the visiting rebbeim. The Rosh Yeshiva, Hagaon Harav Nachman Levovitz shlita, arrived on Sunday for the Annual Benefit Reception, which took place at the home of our alumnus and close friends, Mr. and Mrs. Dov Ocken. Hagaon Harav Ahron Lopiansky shlita, Rosh Hayeshiva of Yeshiva Gedolah of Greater Washington and son-in-law of the Rosh Hayeshiva Harav Beinush Finkel zt”l, was the Guest Speaker at the highly successful and inspiring event.
